From Portland, I took the Amtrak Cascades for a scenic train ride along the coast to my last stop, Seattle. I have never been to Seattle, and wanted to catch up with a few friends who moved up there recently, and of course, wanted to experience the famed Pike's Market.

After Saturday brunch at the Portage Bay Cafe with South Bay transplant, Kris and her daughter, Harper, I had several hours to explore downtown Seattle before dinner with the Walds later that evening.

To keep things simple, I hit the main tourist spots.
